Sep. 13 -The EU overseas coverage chief Josep Borrell has urged Azerbaijan and Armenia to quit hostilities and return to the negotiating table amid renewed confrontations.

“Last night’s armed confrontations among Armenia and Azerbaijan is a risky escalation that desires to stop,” High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/Vice-President of the European Commission Josep Borrell said in a Twitter submit.

“We urge instantaneous cessation of hostilities and go back to the negotiation table. EU is in contact with both aspects to make a contribution to de-escalation,” Borrell brought in his submit.

Dozens of Armenian and Azerbaijanian squaddies have reportedly been killed in renewed border clashes between Armenia and Azerbaijan, in the worst fighting seen because the antagonistic enemies had been embroiled in a 2020 war over the disputed Karabakh vicinity, media stated on Tuesday.
